Rainbow of Cultures Summer Camp

The MCAF Rainbow of Cultures Summer Camp, designed for children aged 6 to 12, is a fun and affordable summer experience. The children take part in various outings, games, and crafts with both cultural and social themes. They meet children of diverse nationalities and create lasting friendships.

Youth Group

Our Youth Group program gives newcomer and Canadian-born youth aged 13 to 21 an environment in which to socialize and enjoy activities while fostering self-esteem and leadership skills. The group meets regularly to participate in community activities or educational events.  Youth Programming is funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, NB Population Growth Secretariat, True Sport, Fredericton Community Foundation, Muriel McQueen Fergusson Foundation and UPS Foundation.

Homework Club

In partnership with Frontier College, MCAF holds a weekly Homework Club for newcomer children and youth from October to April.

Anti-Racism Initiatives

In partnership with schools in the area, the MCAF organizes an Anti-Racism School Art Challenge, inviting students to express their opinions and objections to racism through artwork. The entries are displayed at The UN “International day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination” Multicultural Festival held in March and wining entries are published in the annual Youth Speak publication.  MCAF also conducts Anti-Racism Presentations in schools in conjunction with these events.
