Overview

Language Learning and Skills Development (LLSD) classes to Newcomers to Canada are designed to assist permanent adult residents to enhance their second language skills in English or French. MCAF also offers a program designed to work with newcomers on labour market language training, employment preparation, assertiveness, computer skills and work placements called New Brunswick Employment Language Training (NBELT).  Our classes are free for permanent residents. When required, on-site childminding and transportation assistance is available for eligible LLSD and NBELT participants.  Language Learning and Skills Development (LLSD) for Newcomers to Canada are funded by Citizenship & Immigration Canada.
