Overview

The Newcomer Computer Learning Center is a member of the Community Adult Learning Network (CALNet) of New Brunswick. NCLC is a free service for newcomers to Fredericton and offers:


  • Access to computers with high-speed Internet, computer applications and English/French tutorials;
  • Basic computer training including using e-mails, Internet search techniques, safety procedures for on-line banking and sharing sensitive information, photo editing, and MicrosoftOffice;
  • Specialized computer training for students participating in language classes at MCAF;
  • Use of fax machine, photocopier, scanner, CD burner, printer, and free telephone calls via the internet;
  • Computer maintenance assistance;
  • A yearly Income Tax Program Clinic for eligible newcomers, which e-files reports to Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) during March and April every year.

Hours of Operation: Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:00 pm and Saturday: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
